The title of the series "Now it's Dark" comes from a line in the movie Blue Velvet when the film crosses from light innocence to a darker mystery. The photos in the series are all shot at night with large areas of darkness broken up by isolated areas of light, often from streetlights. Long exposures and underexposed film accentuate the color of the night.
