Sunset Park is the highest point in Brooklyn, NY. It is aptly named as an excellent place to watch the sunset over New York City's upper bay. I took all these pictures while walking around the perimeter of the park long after the natural sunset passed. The streetlights provided my sunset over the hill and central Brooklyn and Manhattan provided an artificial magic hour glow in the background. Long exposures and underexposed film accentuate the color of the night.
In addition to the editioned prints from this series I exhibited, I made an editioned handmade book of the images as well as a short run offset book.
